Paper Pretties is now based in the U.S. - Madison, WI to be exact!

As the new owner of Paper Pretties I want to welcome you to our site!  There will be a lot of changes happening here in the next few weeks! 

Some of the changes that you will see immediately are lower and faster shipping rates!  The shipping rates haven't been changed in the system yet but I will refund any overcharge you get on shipping.  Most of the inventory arrived in Wisconsin today so as soon as I get it unpack and inventoried...I can start shipping out orders!!  I will also be adding several new products to the store in the coming weeks! 

I am also planning some grand "re-opening" activities for next month so be sure to check back!!!

I used Lady Liberty. My cardbase measures 4-1/2" x 12", scored at 4" and 8" to make a Tri-Fold card.

Welcome to Wednesday! It's time for another Paper Pretties Weekly Challenge! For today's post I get to share with you the card I made for our next challenge, issued by Jackie (ME!)! Today we are not only sharing all of our creations, but to make the whole day a bit more fun, we are also hopping from blog to blog as well! We are kicking things off at Christie's blog, so if you haven't started there head on over!

We are all sharing with you our cards for this color challenge, make a card using the colors red, kraft and green, then you will have until June 1st to try this one out for yourself! For my project today I decided to ink up Right on Par! I figured that since golf outfits are always a bit interesting that the red and green gingham would actually work for the gold theme, and it is still manly for the most part, I used one of my favorite layouts for my card as well. It's some bright spring fun! You will notice that we are featuring two great stamp sets this week, and not only are Right on Par and Coffee Cool being featured, but if you decide to order either of these featured stamp sets this week they are both on sale for 40% off the regular price! So after you get your inspiration for the week, you may just want to hop over to the Paper Pretties Store and see where is takes you! It's Prettie Wednesday and todays challenge is to use Earth Elements colors in your project, SU or similiar.   The featured sets are Look Who's Perky and Happily Ever After, which is what I used.  Both sets are on sale this week for 35% off. 

Now the challenge this week was from me and I thought using the Earth Elements would be easy peasy as I use Chocolate Chip on almost all my cards.  But once I got working with it, it was alot tougher than I thought.  I ended up using dp on my card as I needed it to have a 'happily ever after' feeling!  The sentiments for this set have gone missing (the cat ate them??) so I used this vellum one I have had like Forever!   The hop started at Christie's if you missed it.   Next up is the so talented Jane.

We are also previewing a new sentiment we'll be releasing on May 1st - its called Bubbles Everywhere.

This image is always so much fun to play with.  It gives so many opportunities to use all the 'extras' on our cards.  The bubbles have liquid pearls on them as do the lids of the bubble bath.  The bath matt is covered in flower soft.  The towel on Sophia's head has flocking on it and the ducky is covered in Diamond Glaze to make him look shiney!  The dp on the paper is some of the Bo Bunny that is on sale in the store today!  There are three coordinating designs.

This is our new sentiment and I just love how it goes with this image!

Today I have a Prettie Peek of a new rubber stamp set we are releasing on May 1st!  This set is so fun and has so much potential.

I colored the image with my copics and then played a little - he he.  I added diamond glaze to the "icing" on the cupcakes and then used bead 'sprinkles'.  I added some diamond stickles to the cake plate.  The plaid paper is from the Pretties boutique - You can find it HERE.

Happy Wednesday! It is time for another fun Wednesday Prettie Challenge and blog hop! This week I was the lucky team member who got to pick our challenge! My challenge for everyone is to make a card using at least 1 paper punch...easy peasy!

This week the design team will be using either the set Soakin Up the Sun or Rainy Day Friends. These are both adorable Sophia sets and both stamp sets featured this week will be on sale for 35% off all week. I used paper from Chatterbox ( I think).  Ribbon from my stash, some robin nest baubles.  The dark green card stock is garden green from Stamping Up.  I used my diamond stickles on the bees' wings and my copic spica glitter pens on the sun and rays.  The image is colored with my copics.  Hop on over and visit Jane and see what she has cooked up for you!
